Jean R Duke

Jean R. Duke, age 75 of Coldwater formerly of Homer passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at Coldwater Community Health Center in Coldwater, Michigan. She was born April 1, 1936 to George and Grace (Fatherby) Dew in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. In 1955 in Clawson, Michigan she married Thomas V. “Sonny” Duke Jr. who preceded her in death.

Jean formerly of Homer has lived in Coldwater the last 8 years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing

Bingo and poker and making pottery.

Jean is survived by:

Daughters- Linda (Carles) Perkins of Homer

Renee’ Perkins of Tekonsha

(14) Grandchildren

(13) Great Grandchildren

Brother- George (Evelyn) Dew of Homer

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons Terry Lee, Duane and Thomas V. Duke III,

Grandsons Justin and Jason Perkins and a sister Joyce Romska.

Visitation for family and friends will be Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 2:00-4:00P.M. and

6:00-8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Rev. Randy Crider officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Coldwater, Michigan
