Jerome Eugene Morgan

Jerome Eugene Bridges-Morgan, 67, was born September 11, 1949, in Albion, Michigan to Clair Morgan & Elizabeth (Keene) Bridges. He attended Albion Public Schools. He was an outstanding football player. Jerome also attended Olivet College and Jackson Community College, where he received an Associate’s Degree in Business.

Jerome is a veteran of the Vietnam War. After his serving in the Army for two years, he returned home to Albion to continue his employment with Harvard Industries. He retired from Harvard in 2002 after working there for 34 years as a supervisor. After retiring from Harvard Industries, Jerome worked for Starr Commonwealth for five years

Jerome loved his family and friends. He had a heart of gold. Jerome was known to be very humble and quite. He loved to fish, hunt, and do gardening. He had a passion for cars. Jerome also loved to go shopping and travel with his lovely wife, Alma of 30 years.

Jerome accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Since 2004, he has been a faithful member of Redeemed Christian Center of Albion, MI under the leadership of Pastor Jerry Hendon Jr, where he served as a Deacon. He will truly be missed. He left us to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 6, 2017, surrounded by family.

Jerome leaves to forever cherish his memory: Loving Wife, Alma Tucker-Morgan of Albion; Mother, Elizabeth Bridges of Albion; Daughters, Denesha Morgan, of Battle Creek; Atyia (Jerry) Hendon of Pontiac; Ashley Ridley of Waterford; and Lakitea Tucke of Lansing; Brothers, Lloyd (Natalie) Bridges of Jackson; Orlando (Marlean) Bridges of Battle Creek; Brother-In-Law/Friend, Anthony Tucker of Albion; Sisters, Twila (Rick) Weatherford of Jackson; Valerie (David) Fant of Woodbridge, VA; Sister-In-Laws, Annette Tucker of Albion; Ava Tucker and Alberta Tucker both of Lansing; a host of nieces, and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Family Hour will be Saturday July 15, 2017 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00AM at Grace Temple Church of God in Christ, 711 Grace St, Albion, Michigan 49224.
