He was born November 17, 1959 in Albion. Survivors are: Wife; Marlene Anne Porter
Children: Steven John Staelens, Jessica Lee (Jeff) Hammond, Angela Kay (Adam) Reed. Lee Anne Lewis, Michael Cyphers, Jimmie Glen Porter, Jr.(Tracey Guernsey) and Shawn Porter. 16 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild. Parents: Arnold Glen and Eva Jane Porter. Siblings: Linda Sue Fosmore, Randy Lee (Lisa) Porter, and Scott Richard Porter. Several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Dorothy Jean Staelens, his in-laws Clifford Earl and Dorothy Jean Austin
Per his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a Memorial Service held Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at
11:00AM at Grace Church, 2692 N. Dettman Road, Jackson, MI 49201 with Pastor Garrett Craig officiating.
