Julius James Roberts

Julius “Jay”J. Roberts age 67 of Marshall passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at his residence. He was born June 10, 1943 in Kirkland, Washington to John and Jewell (Phillips) Roberts. His first wife was Jerlene Prater which ended in divorce. On April 7, 1977 he then married Janet. L. Billman who survives.

He was a custodian at Wal-Mart Distribution and also worked for McGraw-Edison and Ames.

Jay raised Rottweilers had an AKC Kennel, loved playing pool, football, motorcycles and family time.

Daughter- Twyla (Randy) Newsome of Marshall

Sons- Geno (Rebecca) Roberts of Marshall

Ray Roberts of Olivet

Littlejay Roberts of Marshall

Sisters- Patsy Williams of Marshall

Darlene Moya of Florida

Brother- Denis Roberts of Indiana

He was preceded in death by his parents, son Clayton, brothers Noah, Jimmy, Albert and Charlie Roberts

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, May 28, 2011 from 11:00 A.M.-1:30 P.M. at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion. Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 28 at 1:30P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Earl Martin officiating. Burial will be at Albion Memory Gardens Cemetery, Albion.
