Karen Bonham

Karen grew up in Albion, Michigan and graduated from Albion High School in 1973. After high school Karen married her high school sweetheart, Keith Allen Bonham in 1974 in East Eckford, Michigan. Karen was recently planning to retire from the Albion Michigan Works office, where she enjoyed spending time with her clients and helping others. She also made many close friends while working for Albion Public Schools for many, many years.

Karen is survived by her three children, Heather Frederick, Fawn Bonham, and Ian Bonham all of Marshall, MI; one sister, Susan Yinger; and three brothers, Kenneth Yinger (Maggie), Thomas Yinger, and Rick Yinger. Karen will also be greatly missed by her ten grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, relatives, and many friends.

Karen will be remembered fondly for her dedication to family, her sense of humor and life-long friendships, among many other things. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and she took great pride in caring for her sister, Susan Yinger. The Bonham home will always be remembered by their children, family and friends as a home of open hearts and doors during the holidays and every day.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at 11:00AM until service time on Thursday.
