Kenneth Raymond Fischer

Kenneth Raymond Fischer, age 80 of Parma passed away peacefully with is family by his side on Monday, June 11, 2018. He was born December 8, 1937 to Harold and Ella (Raymond) Fischer in Albion, Michigan. On November 8, 1958, he married Patricia Marron and she survives.
Kenneth loved sports!!! He was an avid fan of the Detroit Lions, Tigers, Pistons & Red Wings. He also enjoyed college sports; specifically University of Michigan and University of Arizona football and basketball. Kenneth liked rooting for the Arizona Diamondbacks as well. Clearly, he was a sports aficionado and enjoyed collecting sports memorabilia as well as spectating. But sports wasn’t the only thing that Kenneth liked; he enjoyed gardening, 50’s & 60’s music and loved spending quality time with his family.
Kenneth served in the Army National Guard and was a Tool & Dye Fabrication Supervisor at Hayes Albion Foundry where he retired.
Kenneth is survived by his loving wife Patricia Fischer; children, Kenneth R. Fischer Jr., Debra (Tim) Booth, Karrie (Bill) Gibson, Richard (Michelle) Fischer; Grandchildren, Joseph Fischer, Christopher (Lynne) Fischer, Caleb & Kyle Booth, Jonathan (Taryn) Gibson, Amanda (Greg) Cogswell, Morgan, Paige and Bailey Fischer; Great Grandchildren, Kylie Mae, Alyssa, Brianna, Nevaeh, Kai, Kallee and Austin; sister, Barb Eagen; brothers, Joe Underwood and Dick (Barbara) Underwood; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepfather, Joseph Underwood.
Visitation for family and friends will be Friday, June 15, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 Luther Blvd., Albion, Michigan 49224 with Memorial Service starting at 11:00AM with Pastor John Cantele officiating. Interment will be at 1:30PM at Riverside Cemetery.

Spent many a night with the colonel working and playing euchre at the Malleable. Great man and I think about him often.

Pat and family I know that Ken will be missed by all, I know that his sister Barb will miss him
because when he was able he was in church on Sundays with her .
