

Kenneth L (Ken) Goodrich 76 passed away Thursday March 5th after a long courageous fight with cancer. Goody, Papa Ken or Papa G as friends and family would call him, graduated from Albion High School. Ken joined the National Guard and also worked for the family company Albion Floor Covering until venturing on his own in the 90’s. His attention to detail doing flooring, ceramic and home remodeling made him highly sought after by many customers.
Ken loved the outdoors an avid sportsmen, he also was a fan of U of M football and basketball. He met his wife Jane Goodrich in 1967 while cruising in Marshall with his beloved road runner. They married in 1970, she proceeds him in death after being married 50 yrs.
Ken has 2 daughters Amy Burnworth(Jeff), Kelly Carlisle (Chad), 2 grandsons Kyle Goodrich and Brett Carlisle (Bailey) along with Shelby Burnworth. He spent many evenings attending his grandson’s sporting events along with binge watching Scooby Doo and Sponge Bob when his grandkids. The prize moment for Ken was the completion of his Up North cabin where he spent many days feeding the animals from the porch, with his companion Shirley.
Ken meant a lot to so many and he will be missed so very much. He is proceeded in death by his parents, aunt and uncle. His brother Mike and nephew Matthew still survives.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026 from 4-7 pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI. A graveside service will take place at Marengo Cemetery at 11 am. on Friday, March 13, 2026.
