Kevin J. Ashba, age 46 of Albion passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Borgess Health Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was born in 1966 to Paul and Linda Ashba Jr. in Albion, Michigan. In 1992 he married Susan Kilbourn who survives.

Kevin enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and helping others.

Kevin is survived by:

Wife- Susan Ashba of Albion

Daughters- Sarah Ashba of Albion Brittney Ashba of Tekonsha Justina Ashba of Albion

Son- Kevin Ashba Jr. of Albion

Grandchildren- Chadd Shilling, Cody Shaffer, Trenton Shilling, Khloe Shutter Gage Shaffer

Parents- Paul and Linda Ashba Jr. of Albion

Sisters- Lisa (Sinuhe) Solis of Albion Tressa Ashba of Hanover Horton

Brothers- Joe (Jodi) Waid of Tekonsha Paul (Melissa) Ashba of Olivet

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 1, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224. Funeral Service will be Sunday, December 2, 2012 at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Codde officiating. Burial will be at Rice Creek Cemetery.

This is so sad. I can not believe this happened. I feel so sad for your family. Kevin was a great person. I always had fun working with him and talking about cars with him. I always wondered if he ever got his 280Z finished or not. He was quite proud of it. He is going to be deeply missed. Heaven has a wonderful new angel.
