Lin "Moon" Konkle

Lin Konkle "Moon" age 67 of Albion passed away Friday, August 27, 2021 at his home. He was born November 6, 1953 at Ft. Benning, GA the son of Theodore and Joanne (Cunningham) Konkle and they preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death are daughter, Jesemy Hammontree, son, Joshua Konkle and granddaughter, Hailey Konkle.

Lin worked for American Colloid Company with his best friend, George Johnson, starting in quality control, then was brought into Metalcasting Products Group (Sales), retiring after 15 years of dedicated service.

In his younger years, Lin enjoyed working on cars, riding his Triumph, hunting, fishing and doing leather work. Lin also loved playing Golf and was awarded Course Champion 3 years ago at his favorite course, Tomac Woods. Most of all, Lin loved get-togethers with his family and friends.

Lin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Karla Konkle, the mother of his children, Sharon Kidder; 2 sons: Nathan Konkle, Levi (Sarah) Konkle, step-daughters: Brook (Mike) Cuatt, Michelle (Ryan) Hall, 3 sisters: Laura Konkle, Kathi Konkle, Kim Konkle; grandchildren: Chloe, Paige, Dylan, Alysa, Jaylin, Ashley, Xavier, Livia, Alaina, Hunter, Gabe, Mason, Brookelynn, Leah, Adam, Kayla; 1 great-granddaughter, Jasmine and countless extended family and friends.

According to Lin’s wishes, cremation will take place and the family will hold a Memorial Service

on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 2:00pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. The Burial will take place on Monday, September 13 at 12:00 pm at Riverside Cemetery.
