Luciano "MoMo" Juan Gonzalez, Jr.

Luciano “MoMo” Juan Gonzalez, Jr. age 68 of Midland, MI, formerly of Albion, passed away Monday, April 25, 2022. He was born on July 16, 1953 in Marshall, MI the son of Luciano and Crus (Bocanegra) Gonzalez, Sr.

Luciano had an amazing memory and sense of humor. He loved golfing, grilling, and watching the Vikings beat the Lions on TV. Throughout much of his life, he was also an excellent pool player and enjoyed bowling and playing softball. Some of his happiest moments were found while listening to music, playing cards and spending time with his family and friends.

Luciano was preceded in death by both of his parents and a son, Jasin Gonzalez.

On August 23, 2003 Luciano was united in marriage to Nicole (Haywood) and she survives. He is also survived by his children Kevin Gonzalez, Andrea (Marvin) Druce, Michael (Haley) Gonzalez and Zachary Gonzalez; his grandchildren Ellyana, Ashton & Milla Druce, Kailynn, Brayleigh & Lylah Gonzalez and Kambrie Gonzalez; his siblings Eva Leffew, Margaret Generi, John (Sherry) Gonzalez, Lolo (Donna) Gonzalez, Jessie Gonzalez and Louie Gonzalez. Also surviving are his best man and longtime friend, Dan Mills, as well as countless cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Luciano’s family will celebrate his life on Thursday, May 5, 2022 beginning with visitation at 11AM until the time of service at 1PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion with Pastor Timothy Kurtz officiating. He will be laid to rest immediately following in Albion Memory Gardens near his son, Jasin. A luncheon will follow at the Albion Elks Lodge, 10725 28 Mile Rd., Albion.
