Morse, Lynn Jerome “Jerry” age 80 of Albion passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 in Marshall under the loving care of his family. He was born August 20, 1938 in Poplar, Montana the son of Lynn J. and Katherine (Lerbeck) Morse.

Jerry served our country honorable in the U.S. Army and worked hard as owner of Morse Construction, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the American Legion, the Assiniboine and Sioux Tribes of Fort Peck Indian Reservation of Poplar, Montana and also enjoyed birdwatching and gardening.

Jerry married Eleanor Steffe on February 18, 1961 in Albion and she survives. He is also survived by 1 brother, Rick Morse, a niece, Julie (James) Trolz, a nephew, Michael (Valerie) Morse, great nephew, Gavin Trolz and great nieces, Lauren and Jenna Morse; and sister-in-law Gwen Morse. He was preceded in death by both parents.

According to Jerry’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a Celebration of Life held at a later date. He will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery, Albion.

I have known Jerry for over 50 years, He was a soft speaking person.
Jerry always had some kind of a joke to tell you.
Jerry will be missed by all that knew him.

Eleanor, I was so sorry to read of Jerry’s passing. I know your loss is great. You have been a wonderful, faithful, loving wife. You were his treasure. He loved you dearly. Many prayers are going up for your comfort. Old friends are jewels in our lives. Jerry and you are old friends.
