
Marcella Bronson, 87, of Homer, passed away Friday October 26, 2012 at her Residence. She was born June 24, 1925 in Jackson, Michigan to Melvin and Ella May (Schannaberger) Draper. On June 9, 1942, she was married to William A. Bronson in Homer, Michigan and he preceded her in death August 19, 1993.
She was a resident of the area all of her life. She was a very active member of the Homer United Methodist Church in Homer and its Prayer Chain. She was a School Bus Driver for the Homer Public Schools for 26 years. She was a former member of the Albion Moose Lodge # 406, a member of the Michigan Travel Trailer Club and has held various offices in the Club, a member of the M-99’ers Square Dance Club. She enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, square dancing, and nature especially birds.
She is survived by 1 Son Jack Bronson of Tekonsha, MI; 3 Daughters Barbara (Fred) Lynch of Homer, MI; Mari Ann Bronson of Tekonsha, MI; Teresa (Terry) Hartle of Findlay, OH; 14 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by 2 Half Sisters Bernice Williams and Irene Windle, and 2 Half Brothers Charles and Jack Williams.
According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and the Family will receive friends from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 3, 2012 at the Homer United Methodist Church, 101 East Adams Street, Homer, Michigan 49245. A Memorial Service will be Saturday November 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Church with Rev. Robert Stover officiating. Burial of Cremains will be at Fairview Cemetery-Homer, MI.
