

Marilyn Ada Williamson, age 75, of Albion passed away Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at her home under the loving care of her family and hospice. She was born July 21st, 1946 in Lansing, MI, the daughter of Leo Roach and Margaret Wilson. She was united in marriage to Fred G. Williamson on December 19th, 1970 in Albion and he survives.
Marilyn was an avid reader, loved to crochet, play softball and was a Mother to everybody that came into her life. She spent many years working with the Ambulance Services alongside her husband. Many would describe Marilyn as very social, strong willed, opinionated, and stubborn. She also spent time volunteering at the school (or making sure Jack wasn’t getting into trouble).
In addition to her loving husband of almost 52 years, Fred, Marilyn is also survived by her two children: Jack (Jamie Boyd) Williamson and Kelli (Blair) Williamson, both from Albion and her second son, Scott Ellis of Albion; four grandchildren, Madelyn Leva, Caden Hoyt-Williamson, Shawn Williams and Bayle Williams; as well as her sister, Margaret Ann Fall.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her brothers, Jim Roach and Leo “Bud” Roach, and her sister Mary Sweitzer.
Services for Marilyn will be held on Thursday, July 14th, 2022 with visitation beginning at 4:00pm until the start of service at 5:00pm at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI with Pastor Steve Shafe officiating.
