Melissa Dawn Fouts

Melissa was a faithful woman who was involved in her church, First Baptist Church Albion and First Assembly Church Battle Creek where she helped interpret American Sign Language. She attended the Kentucky School of the Deaf. She loved to color, do Sudoku and crossword puzzles, and watching game shows and cooking shows. Her best friend was her niece, Alexis.

She is survived by her son, Christopher (MacKenzie Heath) Fouts, mother, Doris Miller, brothers, Michael (Ericka) Miller and Matthew (Tammy) Miller; nieces and nephews, Molly, Leeann, Lucas, Alexis, Ruthie, Carter, great-niece, Grace, and a host of special aunts and uncles.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willis Miller, and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 1:00PM at First Baptist Church Albion, 980 Haven Rd. Albion, MI, 49224. She will be laid to rest on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 12:00PM at Fairview Cemetery, M Dr S, Homer, MI, 49245.
