Melvin Howard

Melvin married Florence Patrick on April, 27th, 1963 in Homer, Michigan and she survives.

He enjoyed going for walks, fishing, riding down to Homer Lake, and spending time with his grandkids and great-grandkids. Melvin worked many years at Albion Industries. He was also a retired Pastor and faithful member of Riverside Baptist Church.

Melvin is survived by his wife, Florence (Patrick) Howard; Johnathan (Rhonda) Howard, Melinda (David) Howard-Rose and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sisters; Mary Myers, Ida Hatton, and Betty Jean Herron.

He is preceded in death by his son James ‘Bud’ Howard, his parents Leslie and Polly Howard; brothers, Dexter Howard, Denver Howard, Delmer Howard, Earl Howard, Leonard Howard, Bobby Howard, Archie Howard, Lee Howard, Garlin Howard, and Fred Howard.

A visitation will be held at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home on Thursday, February 16th, 2023 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM with a funeral service to follow, beginning at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jimmy Collins presiding.
