

Norma I. (Wood/Kopulos) Fink, Devoted Sister, Mother and dear friend to many, died Friday, December 2, 2011 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Norma was born April 10, 1933 to Merle and June (Merritt) Wood. She attended Albion Schools, but unfortunately, was unable to graduate with her class in 1950. She kept a strong desire to complete her education and received her GED in 1977 after raising her six children.
Norma was married to Bill Kopulos September of 1950. The marriage ended in divorce in 1973. She later married Robert Fink who preceded her in death January 2, 1987.
Norma lived at the same residence in Concord for the past 53 years. She was employed as a waitress at the M-60 Grill during the late sixties; she then owned and operated the Roseland Grocery located on M-50 outside of Vandercook Lake. After selling the store, she was employed by the Concord Schools as a cafeteria server, where she stayed until she retired. Her special interests were bowling at Albion Country Lanes and at Homer Lanes. She was a member of TOPS in Homer, and served as a weight recorder for the past twenty years. She loved cooking for her family at Holidays, but her specialty was her homemade beef and noodles that she cooked for birthdays, or for just because….
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers; Alvin Wood, Charles Wood, Marvin Wood, sisters; Mildred Sims, Joyce Haas, Deloris Nash. Survivors are: Sister, Marjorie (Peter) Schengrund, Brother; Richard L. (Judy) Wood, Children; Shirley (Dale) Sanders, Sue (Douglas Jr.) Mohler, Kiro (aka Bill) Kopulos, Richard (Patricia) Kopulos, Louis (Kathy) Kopulos and Gerald Kopulos, seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service for Norma will be Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 P.M.at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, Michigan 49224 with Pastor Richard L. Wood officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, December 10th from 11:00AM until time of service.
In lieu of flowers Norma’s family request donations to be made to Allegiance Hospice in Jackson,
these are available at the funeral home.
