Peggy Joan Collins age 80 of Eckford Twp., Michigan passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 at her home. She was born August 11, 1934 in Albion the daughter of Wilbur Miller and Thelma O’Dell. She married George Collins and he preceded her in death in 1992. Peggy was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Robert in 1973 and a sister, Nancy Burr. Peggy enjoyed sewing, crocheting, baking and collecting things, especially Elvis memorabilia. She is survived by her children: James (Linda) Collins, Gary Collins, Steve (Peggy) Collins, Bruce Edward Collins and Timothy (Lorraine) Collins, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and sibling: Rose Miller, John VanTassel and Terry VanTassel.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from 1-3 & 5-8 PM at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Albion Memory Gardens with Reverend David Nicholls officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
