Dear Family of Rev. Brown,

We've known Bob & Lillie (we called her Belle as that's what my sister Pat could say best) from many years ago when our mother, Gladys Mitz Wilson, worked at Union Steel Products. Belle was hired mostly to take care of Pat (born in ‘47); she and Bob became part of our family and we cherished them.

We brought Mom back and Rev. Bob officiated at her interment on June 14, 2003. We didn’t know Belle had passed and just saw the news about Bob. Our sympathies, prayers and hugs to all of you.

I was deeply saddened when my mother call me about Reverend Brown. I love him very much. All the memories I have of him are pleasant ones.He was (family) to me and I wish I could be there for the Brown Family. I just want to say,There will come a day when the tears of sorrow will softly flow into tears of remembrance...and your heart will begin healing itself...and grieving will be interrupted by episodes of joy...and you will hear the whisper of hope. There will come a day when you will welcome the tears of a sun shower of the soul...a turning of the tide...a promise of peace. There will come a day when you will...risk loving...go on believing...and treasure the tears of remembrance. All those sleeping in their graves will wake up and sing for joy. As the sparkling dew refreshes the earth, so the Lord will revive those who have long been dead."-Isa. 26:19 I love you all, and may God be with you.

To the family and other friends:
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:1-3

We remember this hope that Reverend Brown shared with us so many times for so many years. Please do the same now. Press on and share this good news of Jesus Christ. Remember the happy times you shared with Brother Brown, thank God for the time we had with him and know that friends love you and loved your father, brother, friend very much.

RIP Pastor Brown, we'll see you after a while. Love and prayers...

But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. 1 Thessalonian 4:13-14
Sorry for your lost Praying that God will comfort this family in the days and weeks to come Valerie Carter Barbour & Family
