Robert F. Grundeman, age 89, of Concord passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at the farm where he was born. He was born September 26, 1923 to William and Clara (Weishar) Grundeman in Concord, Michigan. On June 25, 1950 he was married to Frances Lee Cassata in Albion. He was married for 60 ½ years before his wife preceded him in death January 10, 2011.
Robert lived in the Concord and Albion area all of his life, he was self-employed as a farmer, farming the farm that his Father owned and the farm that he was born on. He was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Albion; the South Albion Community Club; a member of the Farm Bureau; and belonged to a card Club that played cards every Saturday Night.

(8) Great Grandchildren, and one Great Grandchild due in March 2013
Sister in Law Vera Grundeman of Battle Creek
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Frances and a brother Russ Grundeman., and his faithful dog Lady .
Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 20, 2012 from 4:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224. Funeral Services will be Friday December 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 100 Luther Blvd, Albion, MI 49224 with Rev. Dennis Matyas officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.
