Ron Stone

February 18, 1941October 4, 2019

Ronald Vern Stone age 78 of Albion left this earth on October 4, 2019 to wait to be joined in heaven by his surviving wife of 55 years, Ola Kay (Wright) Stone whom he married on June 13, 1964. He fought a hard courageous battle with multiple myeloma. Ron was born on February 18, 1941 in Albion to the late James and Mabel (Custer) Stone. He attended Albion High School, graduating in 1959 and served our country in the National Guard. Ron worked at Hayes Albion since he was 17 up until they closed the plant in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and taking family vacations. In addition to his loving wife, he is also survived by daughters Veronica (Paul) Holtz, Linda (Donut) Livolsi and son, Raymond (Lora) Stone, grandchildren Shannon (Joshua) Collins, Brandi Holtz, Jessica Livolsi and Raymond Stone II, great-grandson, Zachary Rowley, brothers, George, Gene (June), Thomas (Rosemary) and Mike (Theresa) Stone.

It was a pleasure to have known Ron. Not only was he a really nice person, he has an amazing family who in more than one way is part of our lives. Our hearts go out to all of you in this really hard time. Someday, I ( Holly) will tell you my favorite memory of your Mom and Dad.
