Ronald B. Taylor was born September 24, 1954, to the union of George Taylor and Mildred Curtis Taylor. He was named by his father and eldest brother Stephen. Ronald was the third of five sons. Affectionately called Ronnie, he was a jokester and friend to all.
Ronnie graduated from Albion High School in 1972. He enlisted in the Army following graduation. After his discharge he returned to Albion and attended Ferris State University. He later relocated to Dalton, Georgia and made Dalton his home. For many years he was employed at Mohawk Carpet Industry. Ronnie loved sports and his family and friends. He lovingly opened his home to family members. He loved to talk on the phone and ended every call with, “I love you” and “pray for me.”
Ronnie accepted Christ as an adult and called all his family in celebration of his decision. On Friday, July 21, 2023, which coincidentally was his mother’s birthdate, he passed away surrounded by his loved ones.
