Samuel "Sam" Len Chamberlain
January 5, 1971 – August 1, 2022

Samuel Len Chamberlain (Sam, Uncle Bubba) of Albion passed away Monday, August 1st, 2022. He was born on January 5th, 1971 in Albion, MI, the son of Gerald and Wendy (Peckham) Chamberlain. Former wife, best friend, and mother of his children Laurie (Taber) Chamberlain.
Sam served as a volunteer fireman for Sheridan Twp for 19 years. He was also employed at several manufacturing facilities as a Millwright Journeyman. He was currently employed by Flex N Gate as Maintenance Manager. He loved working on his trucks, motorcycles, and dragsters with his sons, friends, and family.
Sam is survived by his Father Gerald Chamberlain Sr, Mother Wendy (Peckham) Chamberlain. Brother “Lee” Gerald (Debora) Chamberlain, Sisters Janice (Brian) Buchanan, Ameral Day, Brandon Day. Two sons: Cam and Clay Chamberlain. Nieces and Nephews: Austin, Ashley, Aoife, Quinn.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rollo (Rose) Chamberlain, Donald (Rosetta) Peckham, and several Aunts and Uncles.
Service for Sam will be held on Saturday, August 6th, 2022 with visitation beginning at 12 PM until the time of service at 1 PM at Springport High School Gymnasium, 300 W. Main St. Springport, MI. 49284. Following with burial at King Cemetery in Devereaux. Then a benefit dinner at the Eagles Lodge at 2498 W. Michigan Ave Albion, MI.
In lieu of flower donations, memorial contributions can be made in Sam’s name to your local PTSD Charity, or local Fire Departments.
