
Sandra L. Carter, 67, of Albion, passed away Monday October 8, 2012 at Magnum Care in Albion. She was born August 3, 1945 in Jackson to Cleo Boyd and Dorothy Wagar. On October 6, 1962, she was married to Ivan Carter in Leoni Township, Michigan and he preceded her in death in 1999.
She has been a resident of the Jackson and Albion area for all of her life. She attended Jackson public Schools and received her G.E.D from Albion Public School. She attended Albion Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah Witnesses. She worked at Albion College retiring in 1996. She enjoyed Bingo, Euchre, Crocheting, and spending time at her Computer.
She is survived by daughters Malinda Pace, Mary (Donald Jones Jr.) Weicht, and Dawn (Richard) Leightner all of Albion; Jodie Mulkey of Coldwater; son Ivan (Sherry) Carter Jr. of Albion; 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; sister Judy Dennis of Florida; brothers David (Renay) NaDell, Gary and Timothy Manor, all of Georgia; Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Besides her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Rosanna Frasier.
According to her wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will take place Saturday October 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Clarence Center Cemetery with Mr. Richard Bertchinger officiating.
