Sandra Pauline Van Wert

Sandra P. Van Wert, 64 of Homer passed away at Oaklawn Hospital Marshall Michigan November 22, 2012. She was born November 2, 1948 to Norman and Ellen Payne in Albion, MI. In 1981 she married Kevyn Van Wert and he survives her. Sandi worked at the Homer Public Library for many years and was the director of the library for at least 18 of those years. She was active in the Eastern Star Stella Chapter 140. Besides enjoying her job at the Homer Public Library, Sandi also enjoyed researching genealogy, antiques, watching softball, taking long walks in the woods, Sunday drives, and reading. Perhaps her most favorite things were spending time with her family and drinking coffee on her porch while she watched the lake at the cottage.

6 Grand children, 8 Nieces and Nephews

Visitation will be held Monday 11/26/2012 from 2-4, 6-8 at the J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home 811 Finley Drive Albion MI, 49224. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday 11/28/2012, 2:00 PM with interment to follow at Fairview cemetery Homer Michigan. Donations to Homer Public Library or Oaklawn Hospice would be appreciated and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
