Shaun Elliott Blair

He met his wife, Takiya in high school and they married on July 13,1996. They welcomed their first child later that year. Over the course of their 30-year relationship, they welcomed two more children after years of trying. He spent many years working at Tenneco of Marshall until he retired early. He spent his days at home being the best ‘househusband’ watching food network or ghost adventures. He loved hanging out with his grandpets, the only grand’s he has right now, sneaking them food and watching the history channel. He loved all things knives, crystals (buying them off Facebook and acting surprised when they showed up), and talking cars with Wezley.

He leaves behind his wife Takiya, children Jade, Kennedy, and Wezley, his father-in-law Tom Short his sisters, Tara (Greg) Miller, Joyce (Brett) Kinney, and Tamra Short. His brother Doug Blair. As well as nieces, Samantha Miller, Ciara (Brennan) Combs, Jessica Blair and nephews, Gregory (Taylor) Miller, Tyler Hallock I, Aaron “JJ” (Kristi) Blair, and Chad Blair. He is survived by many cousins and great nieces and nephews.

He was proceeded in death by his dad, Elliott Blair and mother by choice, Donna Short.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr. Albion, MI 49224. Visitation will begin at 11:00am followed by a funeral service at 12:00pm. Shaun will be laid to rest at Clarence Center Cemetery.
