Dear Patty and Doug, So sorry to hear of your mom’s passing, as you know I worked at Citizens Bank with Shirley, she was fun to work with and four of us were offered early retirement, your mom, Nan Parks, Nancy Nystrom and me! After we retired we kept in touch and got together and kept in touch at .Christmas by cards, I was shocked when I heard about her illness! Having lost my husband last August know how hard it is, my heart and thoughts go out to you and your families. Sincerely Joyce

Patty and I will greatly miss my Aunt Shirley.
I remember in my much younger years, going to Machinaw City and the Soo Locks with Aunt Shirley and Uncle Carl for vacation.
Back then too, Shirley had a massive collection of comic books that she would let me read.
Rest in God's peace Aunt Shirley.

To the family..
SO sad to hear of Shirley's passing. She was a funny, witty and a hard working co-worker for many years at FEDCO. We closed the store many nights together and had lots of fun times. She was a dear friend. She will sadly be missed by me and always be in my heart.
Love and Prayers
Mary "Moo" Bergstresser.

Doug & Patty, What fun and happy memories you must have of your Mom. She was always smiling and had a nice word for all. In her later years we enjoyed playing cards with her when she came out to the Elk's. Hope her love for you & her family gives you comfort now and in the days ahead.

Shirley has been my parents' next-door neighbor for more years than I can count. She has always been very caring and attentive to both my mom and dad, quick to make sure all was well with them and make sure there was nothing they needed. She will be so very, very much missed. My sincerest of condolences to Patti and Doug and your families.
