She was born in 1951 to Robert and Lisa Turner in Wyandotte, Michigan. In 1970 she married Craig Hopps who preceded her in death in 1985.
Susan was Co-Owner of the Hopps Colonial Pharmacy for many years, also owned Heart & Soul Crafts. She served on the Homer Village Council for several terms as President, very active in the Homer Affairs, taught school and was very Artistic.
Susan is survived by:
Sister- Candy Turner of Commerce Township
Brother- Chris Turner of Ortonville
Mother- Lisa Turner of Commerce Township
She was preceded in death by her father and husband.
According to her wishes Cremation has taken place and there will be a Memorial Service held at a later date.
