Suzanne Shimkus

Suzanne Marie Shimkus age 62 of Albion passed away at home on October 30, 2021. She was born March 7, 1959 in Albion the daughter of Thomas Frederick and Grace Maye (Hose) Tyszko and they preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence “Duke” Tyszko and granddaughter, Ashley Shimkus.

Suzanne was a loving, nurturing woman who was all about her family, especially her grandchildren. She was generous to a fault and would not hesitate to help others even if it meant she had to do without. She was a natural caregiver who took care of her mom in the last several years of her life. She also loved her pets, cooking, bowling and was a big U of M fan.

She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children: Brian (Carley) Shimkus, Jr., John Shimkus, Christina (Michael) Raupp, 11 grandchildren, brothers, Mike (Nona) Tyszko, Tom (Candy) Tyszko, the father of her children, Brian Shimkus, Sr. and many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
