

Timothy William Osborn age 68 of Marshall passed away Monday, June 16, 2025 at home surrounded in love by his family. He was born on December 26, 1956 in Jackson, MI the son of Ormand and Ann Marie (Gallagher) Osborn.
Tim was a strong, hard-working man who had an unmatched love for his family. His face would light up when he talked about the people he loved. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting in his younger days, cooking on the grill and listening to music. His magnetic personality and compassion made him perfect for his job helping people in their time of loss. First working as a vault man with Willbee Concrete Products and then transitioning to working at the funeral home. He worked a short time for Watson Funeral Home, but spent most of his time working for Tidd-Williams and J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Homes in Albion. The staff at J. Kevin Tidd is mourning with his family at this time and will miss the many memories with Tim.
Tim leaves behind the love of his life, Shelly (Ottgen) Osborn, whom he married on October 9, 1999. They shared a lot of love and memories over their almost 26 years of marriage. He also leaves his first wife, Dawn Waldron, children: Jason (Melany) Hagel of Lansing, Ashley Collier of Lansing, Tony (Anna) Mellow of Marshall; grandchildren: Garrett Mellow, Cole and Reagan Hagel, Kaleb Brunner; sisters: Ardis Ozborn of Nevada, Pat (Richard) Kemper of Arizona, Julianne (Matt) Osborn Jordan of Indiana; brother and sister-in-laws: Mike and Julie Smith of East Lansing, Deb and Tom Thompkee of Homer, Sherry and Tom Kipp of Marshall, special nephew, Adam Krist of Albion and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and close friends.
Tim is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Jim and Bill Osborn, sister, Carol Osborn, niece, Amy Osborn and brother-in-law, Charlie Smith.
According to Tim’s wishes, cremation will take place and his family will celebrate his life on Saturday, July 12, 2025 from 1-4 PM at the B.E. Henry Community Building, 615 S. Marshall St., Marshall, MI. Per his request, if you choose to make a donation in his name, please make forward to the funeral home for any outstanding medical expenses.
