Victor Lynn Williams

Victor “Vic” Lynn Williams, age 85 of Albion passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Henry Ford Allegiance Hospice Home in Jackson, Michigan. Vic was born January 26, 1934 to Lynn and Kathrine (Shumaker) Williams in Paducah, Kentucky.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army then the reserves at the Albion National Guards Company B where he was a cook. He was a proud member of the Albion Elks Lodge #1798. Vic was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church where he was the Sexton for many years. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, watching the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers “Lose” and the University of Michigan.

Vic is survived by his son, David (Kimberly) Williams; daughter, Mary Beth Williams; Grandchildren, Matthew and Kacie Williams; great grandchild, Hailee Williams and Special companion, Beverly Mosher and all of Beverly’s loving family. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Geraldine.

Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 10:00 – 11:00AM at St. James Episcopal Church, 119 W. Erie Street, Albion, MI 49224 with a Memorial Service starting at 11AM at the church with Rev. David R. Pike officiating.

Memorial contributions can be made to St. James Episcopal Church of Albion and Hospice Home of Jackson, MI. Arrangements entrusted to J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion, MI 49224
