Vincent "Vinnie Mac" Avant Jr.

Vincent Avant, Jr. “Vinnie Mac” age 38 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. He was born December 15, 1986 in Albion the son of Vincent Avant, Sr. and Connie Cvitkovic.

Vinnie Mac had a personality and love that was larger than life. A big-hearted, generous man who left an impact on so many. He loved his family and friends and would do anything he could for them. He was a proud 4th generation Moose Lodge member, even serving as Governor for some time. A few of his loved activities were golf, shuffleboard, camping, music, video games, going to Butler Motor Speedway and football. He was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. His impact on this world will last for many generations and keep his memory alive in the broken hearts of those left behind.

Vinne Mac leaves to cherish his memory, his father, Vincent Avant, Sr., mother, Connie Cvitkovic (James Nyssen), significant other and companion, Joey Woods, siblings: Teresa (Joseph) Gonzales Hartsell, Amanda Cvitkovic, Elyjah Avant, Josh Eagen, Jimmy Nyssen, Jr., Joey Nyssen, niece, Alexandria Musson, nephew, Adrian Musson and countless extended family and friends.

A memorial service to celebrate the life and legacy of Vinnie Mac will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025 at 12PM at the Albion Moose Lodge, 13387 29 Mile Rd., Albion.
