Virginia Lee Wilson

Virginia Lee Wilson age 92 of Concord, formerly of Albion went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 8, 2023. Virginia was born March 24, 1931 in Herrin, Illinois to Earl and Lucille Smith who proceeded her in death.

Virginia was married December 13, 1954 to Joseph D. Wilson who also proceeded her in death after a wonderful 57 years of marriage. Virginia was a homemaker and an Avid Church Member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Albion.

She is survived by her daughter Carol A. Wilson of Concord, MI, a son David L. Wilson of Decatur, IN, a brother Earl Ray Smith and sisters Irma Fasig and Vera Restevo all in Illinois also surviving are Gail Geyer-Coonrod and Terry Bryant both of Albion, MI who Virginia considered as her daughters as well as 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Proceeding Virginia in death also were her daughter Donna J. Wilson-Moyer, brother Dwayne Smith and sisters Doris Smith and Bernice Pentecost.

Services for Virginia will be at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 100 Luther Blvd., Albion, MI on Saturday, June 24, 2023 with viewing starting at 10AM until the time of service at 11AM with Pastor Paul Koehn officiating. She will be interred at Pulaski Cemetery in Pulaski Twp. MI. A luncheon will follow at the church after the Interment. The family invites all to attend.
