Wayne E. Mosher
December 12, 1933 – May 5, 2018
Wayne Edward Mosher, age 84, a longtime resident of Albion and Springport, passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Battle Creek. He was born December 12, 1933 in Owosso, Michigan the son of Lloyd and Neva (Mauer) Mosher and they precede him in death along with the mother of his children, Elizabeth and several siblings.
Wayne served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a hard worker and well known in the community. Wayne was a volunteer for Albion Ambulance for many years and worked almost 30 years for Union Steel Products until his retirement. He was a member of both the Moose and Eagles Lodges in Albion as well.
Wayne is survived by 6 children: Robin (Eugene) Ellis, Diana (Larry) Clemons, Wayne (Barbara) Mosher II, Charles “Chuck” (Terri) Mosher, Steve Mosher, Anne (Jeff) Wagner, 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, plus great, great-grandchildren and brothers: Richard, Donald and David.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and Wayne will be laid to rest with full Military Honors in Pulaski Cemetery on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 1:00PM.
