Wendy Lynne Ericson

Wendy Lynne Ericson age 63 of Albion passed away on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 in Marshall, MI. She was born July 26, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was adopted at a young age by her parents Jerry and Barbara Ericson.

Wendy was an avid swimmer and loved sports, especially the Wisconsin Badgers, MSU and was a lifelong Packers Cheesehead who wouldn’t miss watching a game. She also enjoyed spending her mornings watching westerns and loved to read, her favorites being romance novels by Nora Roberts and Mysteries by JD Robb. She very much enjoyed being on the water and loved visiting all the Lake towns in Michigan as she loved Lake Michigan too. Wendy was a devoted and loving mother who made it to every sporting event, was the loudest in the room and would spend countless hours helping to make the signs for those events as well. Her daughter, Carlyta has many fond memories of the countless roadtrips she and her mom went on together, memories she’ll cherish forever.

Wendy leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Carlyta Saldana (Jimmy) of Alexandria, VA, boyfriend, Hector Ortiz, brother, Jeff Ericson and a handful of nieces and nephews. Wendy also reconnected with her biological family and leaves her birth mother, Barbara, 2 sisters, Lisa and Sara and 2 nieces.

Wendy’s wishes were to be cremated and her family will celebrate her life on Wednesday, May 29, 2024 with visitation at 3PM until the time of her service at 4PM at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Dr., Albion, MI.
