William Sheets, 53, of Springport, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013. He was born November 2, 1959 in Xenia, Ohio, the son of Robert and Joyce (Holman) Sheets. He had been co-owner of Sheets Trucking, Inc. since 1999 and was a member of the Springport Planning Commission.
Bill is survived by his wife Debra; 6 children, Erin (Doug) Spencer of Albion, Jess (Monica) Hubbard of Homer, Katrina (Jason) LaRocque of Albion, Joseph (Amber) Hubbard of Springport, Shannon (Joe) Lum of Weston, VA, Kristine (Michael Pombier) Sheets of Springport; his mother, Joyce Sheets of Springport; 2 sisters, Cindy (Curt) Francisco of Burlington, Pat (Bruce) Huepenbecker of Marshall, and numerous members of his extended family. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Robert.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or services. Arrangements entrusted to J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, Albion.
