Aunt Wilma was always a feisty, happy little lady. Mama loved to have her style her hair. She held family picnics in her backyard for us all. Family was very important to her. Now she is joining so many of them with Jesus in Heaven, as it says in John 17:24.

Many of my happiest memories included visiting with Great-Aunt Wilma. She was my first “beautician”, even trying to straighten my unruly hair with Curl-Free in the ‘60’s! Even 2 years ago, she always had fresh baked cookies or other homemade treats with coffee when we visited her, and we could visit for hours! I will truly miss her, but I know her family has had so many wonderful memories to help bring them comfort and heal their grief. Almost 3 years ago, we celebrated her 💯 th birthday in the nursing home, and she was able to return to her own apartment shortly afterwards.
Knowing she is in Heaven helps heal the feelings of loss and grief.

I have such fond memories of Wilma. Memories of laughter and the out of doors. which is where she sent us when we were too rambunctious in the house. Everything from haircuts and perms to fish dinners and her love of family and friends; she was a blessing in many peoples’ lives. Love and prayers for all of you. Nancy Zick Korenchuk
