Betty Sue King

Betty Sue King, sunrise November 23, 1941, sunset July 8,2025. Born to the late Annie S. King and Anderson King. Preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Minor; grandsons Daryl A. Minor Jr. and Rodrick King; siblings 3 brothers and 6 sisters.

She leaves to cherish her memories, daughters Wanda Ealey, Kimberly (Kenneth) Holt, son’s Jeffrey (Sonya) Booker and Rodney Williams; grandchildren NaKeyia Elder, Kenneshia Holt, Kiara Holt, Jeffrey Booker Jr., Elisha Booker, LaTrice Booker, Kevin (LaToya) Taylor, Chavon Mayette, NaCira (Trai) Wilson, and Asheona Williams; 17 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild. Betty also leaves behind sisters Mary Jo Lawrence and Shirley Maxwell, and brother Melvin (Mildred) King, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family welcomes friends to a Visitation at Mt. Olive Baptist Church,1601 Dandridge Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915, on Friday, July 18, 2025, from 3pm-4pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 4pm. Family and friends will meet at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens in the Garden of Prayer, for a Graveside Service on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 1pm.

Please have flowers delivered to Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1601 Dandridge Ave, Knoxville, TN 37915.
