Brenda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Shortly before her passing, Brenda gave her heart to the Lord, bringing comfort and peace to her family in knowing that she is now resting in His loving arms.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Lynn and Gloria Lynn; daughter, Angel Hume; and siblings, Nilda, Danny, and Debbie.
She is survived by her loving husband, Charles Myers; children, Eddie (Katie) Hume and Erika (Steven) Fairchild; four grandchildren Trevor (Trenessa) Hume, Tyler (Makenna) Hume, Teresa (Dayton) Fairchild, Kendyll (Joshua) Hume; five great-grandchildren; one sister; three brothers; and many nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the hospice staff at Prisma Blount Memorial Hospital for the loving care, compassion, and support they provided to Brenda and her family during her final days.
Brenda’s life and memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family finds comfort in knowing she is now at peace with her Lord and Savior.
The family welcomes friends to a Visitation on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens from 11am-12pm, Funeral Service at 12pm, and a Graveside Service to follow in the Garden of Prayer.
