She spent her working years as a caring babysitter and was loved by many. Cathy loved spending time with her family and dogs.
She is preceded in death by her husband James "Bucky" Hicks and parents George Vernon and Vernie Ruth McKeehan.
Cathy is survived by daughter Sharon Hicks; siblings Jack (Edie) McKeehan, Clarence McKeehan, JoAnn Russell, and Luther Ray (Dona) McKeehan. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs Ginger and Bebe.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Fair Park Nursing Home for the love and care provided. Special thanks to JoAnn Russell and Valerie Martin for caring for Cathy during this tough time.
