Charles Audrey "Buckshot" Thomas, age 83, of Knoxville, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2017. He was a mechanical genius. He worked as an armorer at ORNL. He was a long time member of North Knoxville Baptist Church. He was a loving husband and father. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Ola Thomas; three brothers; and one sister. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Margaret Joan Spears Thomas; daughter and son-in-law, Cathy Jo and Berl Miller; sister, Aileen Highsmith of Tampa, FL; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a Call at Convenience from 10:00am-12:00pm on Saturday, September 9, 2017 in the Mausoleum Chapel of Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens (3176 Airport Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701), with a Graveside Service at 1:00pm, with Rev. Charles Fritts officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to North Knoxville Baptist Church (217 W Oldham Ave., Knoxville, TN 37917).
