David Allen Anderson, age 75, of Knoxville, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 13, 2025. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church for many years. David retired after 38 years with the University of Tennessee.
He is preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings.
David is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Billie Anderson; children David (Nikki) Anderson, Joe Anderson, Angela (Tim) Burchfield, and Nikki (Bobby) Bradburn. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Davids grandson’s will serve as his pallbearers, and his granddaughters will be honorary pallbearers.
The family welcomes friends to a Visitation at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens, on Friday, October 17, 2025, from 1pm-2:30pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 2:30pm. The family will have a private Graveside Service. David’s family asks that you wear your best UT attire to the funeral. GO VOLS!
