I am so sorry to hear about Phil. I worked with him at TVA and was a neighbor of his in Powell. I knew his whole family and I know that he loved and cherished them all. I think about him often, even though I haven't see him for 37 years . He will be missed.

I am so deeply saddened by this. I met Phil and Lou only a little over a year ago. I instantly felt connected to them both. They are both the most kind, caring, and wonderful people. I spoke with Phil and Lou a few times a month and always looked forward to our talks. Phil will be greatly missed and I will continue praying for Lou and your family. I pray that you all find peace and love life the way Phil did. He was always positive and always looked at the good in life. I will miss him.

Sending much love and condolences to the family and a big hug to “Aunt Lou”. Even after many years the way “Uncle Phillip” talked to me still replays in my head. And tho my own children have never met him, I have relayed just how wonderful his words could make you feel. What a blessing he was to this world. I’m sure he’s lighting up heaven now. ❤️
