Glenna M Denton

She was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1945. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville for 66 years. She loved God, her family, and her friends. She enjoyed cooking for her family and spending time with them. She spent many years working with Sunbeams, GA'S, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, foster children, and Sunday School children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; her parents, John and Elizabeth Maples; siblings, James Maples and Billie McElhaney; sons, Bud, Jonathan, and Tim; daughters, Donna Hamilton and Denise Ford; and three grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Dion Hunt; son, Dewayne Denton; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Family and friends will meet Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Rev. Tony Collins will officiate.
