Gloria Don Boring

Gloria Don Boring, age 89, of Minneola, FL passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, May 4, 2023. Gloria was born in Pelly, TX and was the eighth child out of nine. She was a devout Christian and enjoyed playing the piano and organ for multiple churches. She enjoyed crafting and playing games with her family in her spare time. Gloria was proud of her 15 years of civil service with the United States Navy as the Administrative assistant to the commanding officer. Gloria was truly loved and will be dearly missed.

Gloria was greeted into Eternity by her husband Forrest M. Boring; parents, Louis and Julia Dickerson; grandson, Douglas Baker; son-in-law, Matt Corrigan.

She leaves behind to carry on her legacy of love to her daughters: Debbie Judson, Judy (Joseph) DeLuca, Robyn Corrigan; grandchildren, Tammy Lombardi, Kelly Corrigan Robertson, Colleen Corrigan Jeppesen, Nichole Myers, Joseph DeLuca, Julie DeLuca, Jill DeLuca Patterson; great-grandchildren, Carter Lombardi, Connor Lombardi, Brody Robertson, Cayden Jeppesen, Colton Jeppesen, Noah Myers, Landry Myers, Olivia DeLuca, Elliana DeLuca.

The family will honor Gloria with services on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Sherwood Chapel & Memorial Gardens, 3176 Airport Highway, Alcoa, TN 37701, with a visitation from 12:00pm to 1:00pm and a funeral service to follow at 1:00pm, entombment service will be private.
