Horace Benjamin "Hoss" "Ben" Stair, age 67, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away July 26, 2020. He was a Veteran of The United States Army. Hoss worked as a guard for ORNL for many years and later became Truck Driver and member of the Teamsters Union.
Preceded in death by his parents Paul Stair and June Beeler Stair, brother Paul Raymond "Mike" Stair, and sister Pat Stair McElyea Lothridge.
Survivors include his children Kristin Stair Vanzant, Samuel Ethan Stair and Ashleigh Stair, sister Debbie Stair Anderson, four grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Committal Service with full military honors will be held Friday, December 17, 2021 at 10am in the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, 2200 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37920.
