He was a long-time member of Wallace Memorial Baptist Church, enjoyed spending time with his family which included, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, playing cards with his friends, and volunteering for Mobile Meals. James spent 29 years with First Tennessee Bank and 10 years with FDIC.
James was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Norma Bunker; parents, Harry Bunker and Vera Boltenheimer and sister Romona Maivelett.
He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Condry; son, Jimbo (Cindy) Bunker; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and extended families.
The family will meet Wednesday January 29, 2025 at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens for an 1:00 p.m. graveside service. Rev. Jim McCluskey and Rev. Kent Williams officiating.
