Ron and Gail, our condolences to you and everyone in the family. I will always be grateful to Jerry for helping me get started in real estate and her continued support and advice for many years. Marvin always sought her advice when he was shopping at Penney’s as well. She lived a long and full life and I know you all will miss her very much.

I just heard the news about Jerry and I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Jerry at JCPenney for almost 9 years. She was always sweet and kind to me. What times I would work with her over in the men's department we always had fun together. When I went to working on the pricing team I got to see her a little more. She will be greatly missed by all. I pray that God will bring peace, strength & comfort to all of you. Your family will be in my prayers.

It was with great sadness I read of Jerry passing on to heaven. I dearly loved her. She was always so upbeat with such a wonderful smile all the time. I never saw her upset. She told me quite a bit about her life as we grew to know each other through the years. She told of living a tough life at a young age caring for her sons and working to support them. But she was a survivor, strong and independent. She dearly loved her son Ron and daughter-in-law Gail. Thanks to both of you for ensuring that Jerry was taken care of and needed nothing as she aged gracefully. I have known Jerry for 33 years at least. My husband always depended on Jerry to help him find his suits and clothing at JC Penneys. He would wait and go back later until Jerry was working if we went there and it was her day off. And she was my favorite client and as years passed she was proud to say that she was one of my oldest clients in time of me preparing her taxes and in her age with such a big smile and laugh. She was so good for my ego. It is fitting that in the year of her passing that Penneys is closing in Maryville and the cruise lines have shut down for the rest of this year.Jerry will be deeply missed. I am deeply sorry for your loss.
