Hinton, Jim, 76, of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 29, 2014. Preceded in death by parents Wallace and Rose Hinton, wife Shirley Hinton. Survived by son Mike Hinton and fiancé Brandy Edmondson, grandson and wife Michael and Melissa Hinton, five great grandchildren Carder, Holly and Carson Hinton and Journi Stansberry and Christopher Dunlap, brother Bill Hinton and wife Sue, sister Pat Headrick and husband Wayne. Service will be on Friday October 3, 2014 at 2:00pm at Sherwood Chapel with Rev. James M. Hinton officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00-200pm prior to the service.
