Jodean Seal

Jodean was a loving wife, mother, Goo Goo, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend. She was the Salutatorian of the Walland High School Class of 1968. She loved Jesus and her family very much.

She was preceded in death by parents, Joe W. Adams and Helen I. Adams; sisters, Patricia Adams, Brenda Watkins, and Marcella Sims; brother Rodney Adams; and lifelong best friend, Deloris Alexander.

Jodean is survived by her husband of more than 55 years, Jimmy Seal; sons Jason (Sam) Seal and Justin (Amy) Seal; grandchildren Parker Seal, Milo Seal, Brittany Cupp, and Jayden (Savanna) Cupp; nephews, David (Debbie) Dockins, Eddie Dockins, Chris (Erin) Sims, and Chad (Stephanie) Sims; special friend of more than 55 years, Pam Ford; dear friend Brenda Gregory; and classmates of the Walland High School Class of 1968.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Springview Baptist Church, 4220 U.S. Highway 411, Maryville, TN 37801. A Celebration of Jodean's life will follow at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Bro. Ben Ward and Bro. Toby Downey.
