He is survived by his devoted wife, Diane Copeland; three sons, Kenneth, Brian, and Mike, along with their spouses; and a cherished group of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Janice Shank.
A true car enthusiast, Bob had a special passion for his 1957 Chevy Bel Air and enjoyed cheering on the New England Patriots and the Tennessee Volunteers. He loved bowling, taking trips to the mountains, and traveling across the country with his beautiful wife. Bob also had a knack for smoking meat and cooking, often gathering family by their beautiful pool to share meals and create memories.
Bob dedicated most of his life to the swimming pool industry, beginning his career as a contractor in Downey, California, and eventually making his way up the Northeast Coast and then down South to Tennessee. In East Tennessee, he built a lasting legacy with Able Gunite Pools, where he proudly served as owner and operator for over 28 years.
His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
